The Seven Spirits of God

Every now and then, I run into these verses, look into them a bit and then promptly forget about them because I haven’t really understood. This time, I decided to delve in a little further. Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things say He that has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead. Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded flashes of lightning and thundering and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God. Here, we see the power of God like a massive storm. Voices come out of this storm, and seven lamps illuminate the throne room.
